TERMS & CONDITIONS

References in this privacy policy to 'we', 'us' and 'our' are to MacBattery and it's officers.

Warranty

We warranty that if your battery should fail within 30 days of purchase due to a manufacturing fault or incompatibility, we shall provide a replacement or refund at your discretion.

This warrant does not include cases of charging non-rechargeable batteries, overcharging of rechargeable batteries, physical damage or incorrect application as detailed below.

It also does not include cases where the battery has simply been used up, as after all it is a consumable item.

Overcharging and Charging Rechargeable Batteries

The Rechargeable Batteries should not be overcharged and should only be charged with the supplied charger. Usual re-charge times are 2HRS MAXIMUM. If the battery gets hot do not continue to charge as it indicates that the battery is FULL. Please do not repeatedly overcharge a charged battery or permanent damage will result.

Physical Damage

Any physical damage that occurs to the battery terminals or casing due to wear and tear or improper fitment, if the battery is dropped, connectors damaged, connectors are not properly used, or battery short circuited are not deemed manufacturing faults.

Incorrect Application

Fitting a smaller or less powerful battery, or the incorrect type of battery for the application will result in shortened lifespan and premature failure. This is not a manufacturing fault.

Limitation Of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, exemplary or consequential, damages, or any damages whatsoever, even if we have been previously advised of the possibility of such damages, whether in an action under contract, negligence, or any other theory, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use, or performance of the information, services, products, and materials available from this site. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitations may not apply to you.
